Jules facilitates music and movement groups and teaches music to preschool aged childrenguided by the Orff Schulwerk method of teaching.
A strong advocate for music education, Jules loves to share not only the joy of music but
also the cognitive and developmental benefits of music in early years.
A mum of two young children, Jules completed a Bachelor of Contemporary Music at
Southern Cross University. She has been part of the Sydney live music scene for the last 18
years, performing as a professional singer in bands along the East coast of Australia.
This music program is taught through play: singing, moving and playing instruments whilst learning the fundamentals of music.
During class your children are encouraged to sing, use props and instruments, learn actions and movements to music. Caregivers are also encouraged to participate where they can to give the child a full learning experience. This also creates opportunities to recreate musical experiences at home.
Classes vary from 30 – 45minutes. We will explore and play real instruments. Class delivery is in a group environment, starting in a circle on the floor and progressing to easy, light exertion.
Caregivers must be present and participate with their child for all classes. Participation will vary as children get older.
